Module 5
Reflect on how the focus of this module has helped you plan and create your unit.
By creating assessments throughout the unit I will know what my students are learning and maybe where I need to add more to a lesson so that the skill can be reviewed and learned by all.
How do I assess student learning?
I will use checklist, a journal, student-teacher conferencing, poem, art projects, and a parent program.
How do I involve students in the assessment process?
Students will need to keep track of their checklist and use their time wisely to complete their projects on time. Consider how the knowledge you gained from this module will impact your teaching and your students’ learning.
By planning the assessments in advanced will help me know what needs to be taught and by making checklist for the students will give them more responsibility in their work.

On-going assessment is an vital part of any unit or lesson plan and it can help up differeniate instruction. Your assessment list is varied and the class will like what you have chosen.

The benefits of planning the assessments in advance really prepares the teacher for the unit.
